As a follow up to Miami Monday several weeks ago, here are a few fabulous Halloween Events for the kiddies happening around town:
Mall Events
House of Terror Amusement Park at Miami International Mall
1455 NW 107th Avenue, Miami
Enjoy a haunted house built just for kids, a huge maze, carnival rides, lots of food, concerts and much more from 6 pm to midnight. Admission is $20 for adult and $15 for children under 10.
Radio Disney Trick or Treat Street Party
20505 S Dixie Hwy, Miami
Event includes fun Radio Disney tunes, costume contests and treat-or-treating through Southland Mall from 1 pm to 6 pm. Event is Free.
Bayside Marketplace Halloween Event
401 Biscayne Blvd, Miami
Children are invited to show off their costumes from 5 pm to 7 pm. Event includes trick or treat throughout the Marketplace and street performers will be on hand to entertain the kids. Children in costume will receive a free ride on the Carousel or Kiddie Train. www.baysidemarketplace.com
Theme Park/Museum Events
Miami Childrens Museum 1st Annual Fall Festival
980 MacArthur Causeway on Watson Island in Miami
Event activities include trick or treating, Halloween crafts, Mad Science, games and more. Admission is $15 for adults and children, $12 for Florida residents, free for children under 12 months are free.
MetroBoo at Miami Metro Zoo
12400 SW 152 Street,Miami
Enjoy costume contests, win fun prizes, and gather up all sorts of yummy Halloween treats while observing the animals from 11 am to 4 pm. Admission is $16 for adults and $11.72 for children.
Monster Splash Nighttime Bash at the Miami Seaquarium
4400 Rickenbacker Causeway, Miami
This is my pick for Miami’s Theme park Halloween fun. This event promises trick or treating for kids in costume, two haunted houses, the new buried alive haunted attraction ,a skeleton walk, sac races, pumpkin carving contests, Halloween themed shows and carnival rides from 5pm to midnight! Admission is $24.94 for adults and $21.95 for children.
Parrot Jungle Island
1111 Parrot Jungle Trail, Miami
Enjoy safe trick-or-treating with candy stations located all over the park and enter the costume contests. Eating contests, arts and crafts and a whole lot more spooky, silly fun from 10 am to 6 pm. Admission for adults and kids $13 and children in full costume $7.
Pumpkin Patches
The Little Farm

Open at 3 pm on weekdays and 10 am on Saturday. Pumpkin purchases come with free pony rides!

Halloween Family Day
Miami Beach Botanical Garden, 2000 Convention Center Dr., Miami Beach
Halloween arts and crafts, pumpkin carving and painting, cookie decorating, music and entertainment from 11 am to 1 pm. Kids must be in costume. Admission is $2. Click here for more information.
Halloween on the Mile
On Miracle Mile in Downtown Coral Gables
A whole schedule of events from 3 pm to 6 pm.
• 3 p.m.: Trick-or-treating and scavenger hunt begin. Haunted house at Baptist Medical Plaza, 320 Giralda Ave.
• 3:30 p.m.: Doggie costume contest
• 4 p.m.: Halloween stories and announcement of scary story contest winners at Books & Books, 265 Aragon Ave.
• 4:30 p.m.: Performance by the Magical Miracles at the Miracle Theatre.
• 5 p.m.: Kids costume contest at the Miracle Theatre.
Haunted House and Outdoor Movie
Grapeland Park, 1550 NW 37th Ave., Miami
Haunted house from 6 to 7:30 p.m. , with trick-or-treat bags, followed by screening of Monster House at 8 p.m.. Includes best costume and mummy wrap contests. Admission is $4. Call 305-960-2960 fro more information.
Granada Grand Harvest Festival
950 University Drive, Coral Gables
