My whole life changed today. I just took my first bite of popchips newest flavor…sweet potato! This sort of completes the favorite flavor trilogy for me…original, jalapeno and now sweet potato. I basically have a chip for any snacking mood and for 100 calories a serving I’ll keep popping! Where can you get them? Walgreens is a great place. You can also order them by the case on Amazon. I know my loyal readers must think I am either a paid spokesperson or wackadoo for going on about popchips…I am neither. It is just that as a hater of exercise, these things really have changed my life. Popchips is one of the best shortcuts to a fabulous figure I know…so get a bag and see for yourself!
I have a new favorite candle! It is made by a company called South Beach Candle Company. I had the privilege of meeting one of the owners, Yolexys Acosta, when I bought the candle, and she is a total sweetie pie! The candle I am currently obsessed with is from their Tall Candle Jar collection. The scent is called Love Struck and I am! The smell is so clean and fresh but not like a Downey drier sheet. The candle is $22 and you can purchase by clicking here. Their candles are hand-poured and made of a soy blend that provides an extraordinary scent along with the calming sound of its wooden wick. It burns for approximately 60 hours. I really love the scent of this candle the crackle sound makes me feel all cozy!

I don’t know about you but when I am being fabulously Martha in the kitchen, I almost always use onions and they make my eyes sting and water. Who needs a cry baby in the kitchen? I purchased this overnight bag in pink about six months ago at Miss Katie’s Charm School in Aventura Mall and it is the one of the most fab bags I have ever owned. I wanted to see how the bag would hold up and how well the sequins would stay on before I endorsed the bag as a shortcut to fabulous. I am pleased to report that after about six months of use, I have yet to see a lost sequin or any damage to the bag. I am pretty rough with my purses and bags, so I have been really impressed with the quality of the bag. The pockets on the inside are very functional. The handles on the bag make it easy to carry either over your shoulders or in your hand and it comes with a detachable long strap for another toting option. I also love that the bag itself is very lightweight, so I love using it when I have big events and have to be on site in my sweats for the event planning portion and then do a quick change to fab for the actual event. This Friday Miami City Ballet presents Program II of its 2011-2012 season. The highlight of Program II is Viscera, a World Premiere ballet by Liam Scarlett, The Royal Ballet of London’s most successful young choreographer. If you have not heard of Liam Scarlett, trust me when I say you don’t want to miss this. He is going to be a ballet star…there is even buzz that he could be the next George Balanchine. Also on this program are In the Night, Jerome Robbins’ valentine to love, experienced through three glamorous pas de deux to Chopin’s ravishing piano music, and masterpiece Ballet Imperial, Balanchine’s tribute to Petipa and Tchaikovsky.
