Shortcut to Five Fabulous things I can’t live without right now

Here are five things I am in L-O-V-E with right now in no particular order:

1. Julie’s Organic Strawberry Yogurt Bars- I wrote about these yummy pops a few weeks ago and I can’t stop eating them…at 100 calories per bar they just seem too good to be true!

2. Glee Cast Version of the Friday Song. $1.29. I loved the Prom episode of Glee and just had to download this song after the episode aired. The Friday song was originally the laughing stock of You Tube, but this new Glee Cast version is my new song to play on Fridays at work when I am just over the trashy girls that make my job harder because they don’t do theirs.

3. Oka b. Chloe Flip Flops. $20.00. These rubber, dishwasher safe flip flops are a staple in my summer wardrobe. They are great for travel, perfect for icky showers and the beach as they are rubber and waterproof. Plus, they have reflexology massage beads!

4. Bliss Super-Sized Body Butter, Lemon + Sage 14 fl oz . $48.00. This Moisturizer is a bit of a splurge but it is perfect and refreshing for summer. I have been using this everyday after showering on the uber dry parts of my body. The scent is clean and fresh and not overwhelming and the lotion absorbs into the skin quickly and doesn’t leave you greasy.

5. Scunci Spin Pin. $6.99. This is my new go-to hair tool. My hair is super fine and straight. I generally cannot use hair gadgets cause my hair just slides right through.The spin pins are awesome. They have all day hold and are the answer to my prayers on a bad hair day. The regular sized spin pins that are included in this link are great for thicker hair, but if you have fine hair like me, you want to find the minis that come with three mini spin pins to a package. I found them at Walgreens and stocked up!!!!

1. Summer and the City: A Carrie Diaries Novel Candace Bushnell’s newest book. I can’t put it down…and I already did a “speed read skim through” of the book last night to prepare for an interview with her today…stay tuned for that next week.
2. Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Medium Glow 4.4 oz. Now that Spring/Summer is here, I have made this product a regular for bare leg days. I get so many compliments on my legs and if you saw a before and after (oh wait…stay tuned for that in the coming weeks), this would make your must have list too!
3. iWatchz Q Collection Wrist Strap for iPod Nano 6G This watch band has changed my life! You attach your ipod Nano to the wristband and it makes a totally cute watch. It is less than $25 and ensures that you have music ready to tune out the loud girl in the office or for a quick run in the evening. The Nano comes with a built in pedmoneter so it has been so fun and sort of depressing to track my daily steps…so far the highest I’ve gotten is 7,432 steps…um…you are supposed to hit 10K every day…no wonder my butt is expanding!
4. LC Lauren Conrad Round Sunglasses. I bought these sunglasses on a business trip I took last week to the middle of nowhere and I now I find myself wanting to go outside just to wear them. They are under $15 and I am pretty sure they will look fab on any face!
5. Its a 10 Miracle Leave In Product . I am not really a hair product girl, mostly because: A. I am too lazy to actually do my hair; and B. I have yet to find a hair product that works better than Aqua-net hairspray. I got a sample of this product from my friends at Ulta Beauty and I have to say I like the way it makes my hair feel and smell. I spray it on before I blow dry my hair and I feel like my hair looks shinier and more “styled.”

I am obsessed with keeping my skin looking at youthful as possible. I have a fabulous dermatologist on speed dial and she helps keep my skin in order with chemical peels twice a year. For the in-between maintenance, I try to hit the spa for facials and microdermabrasion treatments, but my addiction to clothes and shoes often leaves me with an empty pocketbook and no money for a spa session. You can customize the shoe choosing from a wide range of colors and materials. Everything from the toe, heel, strap, platform and more can be customized. You can create mary janes, strappy sandals, t-straps, and peep toes, dorsay pumps and more! Materials include leather, suede, snakeskin, pony, velvet metallic, studs, vegan options and more. They even have glittery options! Their tag line is “a dream come shoe” and I think that sums up this dream footwear company perfectly. On average their shoes take 6-8 weeks to deliver and shoes seem to average about $300.
