I am a proud member of the Junior League of Miami and this year, I have the privilege of serving as co-chair of one of the organization’s biggest fundraisers of the year, Miami Magic. It is a fab party held every year with cocktails, dinner, dancing silent auction and more. This year we decided to spice things up and give those who can’t attend an opportunity to give back to the community and donate through our “Miss it but Mask it” online giving campaign. Now is your chance to give back and support a charity that actually makes a difference and doesn’t have a ridiculous operating budget. The Junior League of Miami only has one employee…that’s right…one! Everything else we do is purely on  volunteer basis. We even pay dues to cover costs for meetings, etc. The Junior League of Miami is a volunteer organization made up of close to 1,000 women who work on projects addressing homelessness, family violence, women and chlldren’s health, early childhood development and childcare.
